I’ve been doing a bunch of on-model pony rehairs lately, so here’s Twilight! I’m in the process of doing the whole mane 6, which I’ll be posting as a group later, but I really liked how Twilight came out…
She’s done with brushed and straightened yarn fiber, with a couple drops of diluted styling glue in her mane. Her tail has no product in it and is silky and soft. :D
I’ll be selling ones like her and others in about a month or so, price undetermined atm (rehairing and styling takes quite a few hours), but email me if you’re super interested! arupaka.art[at]gmail[.]com. c:

MY DUMB OC, DRAW HER FLOOF.
She’s actually inspired by a lot of G1 pony stuff, both the Perfume Puff Ponies and a G1 episode, in which the ponies are kidnapped by some pig-witch that shaves off their manes and tails to use them to spin into a magic cloak, where it’s revealed the ponies can regrow their magic-infused hair instantly (episodes 16-18, “the glass princess”, if you want to torture yourself with bad 80s cartoons on youtube for a while).
I don’t think the yarn she spins from her hair has any super special magic properties per se, it’s probably just exceptionally soft and available in any color you could dream of. UuU

furaxvelvet asked: Hi ! How did you wash your vintage mylittle pony ?
To clean the body I use this stuff to scrub off any grime, (mostly just because it’s what I have on hand, and the milled marble scrubs off grime really well) but I heard oxyclean works even better, especially if you have pindot mold (though I haven’t used it myself). For that, just take a bucket and extra hot water, a scoop of oxiclean, and drop the pony in to soak. Scrub it after a while, and if any pindot remains, you can dry picking it out with a pin while the pony’s still warm and soft from the soak. For both of these methods, you should be careful scrubbing around any paint or cutie marks on the pony, just to keep them from scratching or flaking.
I use regular shampoo to wash the hair, then good quality conditioner to detangle - let it sit for a couple minutes then rinse and gently comb it out in hot water. Then you can style it!

So I got an iPhone app called “manga camera” and I’m laughing way too hard at my stupid pictures
That’s fucking rad.
Wow, that’s perfect.
Technology is fucking cool.
THIS… THIS APP…
So the SUPERVISING DIRECTOR OF MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC is buying some of my squids…….
Legit kinda choked up and amazed that the DIRECTOR IN CHARGE of something I’m making SILLY FAN ART PLUSHIES off of loves and is buying my stuff, since something like this has never happened to me.
And after that LaughingSquid feature I had to sort through like 50 notes and comments about them and wanting orders oh my gooossshhh.
RIP mumbles, died knitting squids until he drowned in them.
I’m just so happy and amazed that people like the silly things I make. ;A; THE WORLD IS SO STRANGE AND AMAZING.
