SCHOOL ADVENTURES
Self portrait final for my color/composition class, gray ink and colored pencil on 11x14” toned paper. :V
I felt like I wasn’t getting any better at all this semester, like I hit a plateau. Then I did this, it turned out pretty alright, and I realized I did it in an hour, versus last semester’s self portrait which took ten hours. Not only that but this is BIG, the last portrait was only 6x6”. So I guess I got way faster, if anything!
I just realized the first thing my art professor did when I turned in my final project was sniff it.
To try and figure out what the medium was. I used colored pencil, but the texture of the paper I used it on made it look like pastel.
What a strange man.

GOD BLESS DR. WOOD
AHAHAHA the short film I’m going to make for Film class is awesome.
Just to give you a taste, it’s a film noir meets scifi B movie, called THE BRAIN THAT ATE SEATTLE.
This is going to be awesome.

- Me: Well he IS a potter.
- Lai: I knew he was a wizard.
- Me: WHAT NO.
