My 2012 art folder is almost 100MB smaller than my 2011 art folder and I thought I HAVE FAILED………..
But then I remembered that a large chunk of my time was spent filling every sketchbook seen here and two giant art pads (none of which got scanned and put into my art folder):

Just sad I had to leave school at all… I hope I can keep up being even half as productive as DigiPen made me this coming year.

I slept way too long today but I had the absolute coolest dream.
I’m gonna put it under a cut because I want to write it all down in detail. It was very sequential and all the people and actions involved were very detailed, like… I want to draw all of this, or make it a comic, or SOMETHING. It’s kind of long and strange anyway… but I’m writing it down exactly as I dreamed it, without altering things.

I was thinking about making his “proper” first name Jeremy for a while so that I wouldn’t…. feel so ashamed….. about my poor name choices……….. But I’ll probably just ignore it and call him Marbles all the time and just keep Jeremy as a formality.
…And I had an OC YEARS back that had a pet rat named Jeremy. :’D

Wow they like to cuddle so much IT’S SO CUTE. Even though Marbles (on the bottom) is supposed to be the friendly outgoing one, the trip over scared him quite a bit it seems, so after their cage was set up and they were back in there he spent the first half hour or so hiding under the ladder looking shocked. :C He calmed down after a while and he’s napping in the hammock now, though. Caligula IS pretty skittish like I was told, but it turns out he’s also very curious and friendly! He was the first to totally explore the cage setup and he’s very aware of everything going on outside the cage, and he climbs like a madman. He just gets startled and jumps easily at sudden noises and movements. Unlike Marbles, he was bred as a feeder rat and wasn’t handled as a baby, so he’s still not 100% used to humans. Both like getting pets and have licked my fingers though, uwuuu cute babies. UuU
Marbles’ full name is Jeremy Marbles, by the way. C:

Two males, the one on the bottom is a dumbo rex, the one on top is a black and white hooded. The top one is younger and pretty shy apparently, but very attached to the dumbo rex who is very outgoing and playful and cuddly. :’D I THINK THAT’S SUPER CUTE, I like animal pairs where one is shy and timid and taken care of by the other big outgoing one. SO CUTES.
The previous owner had to find a new home for the babies because after having them for only a few months, they gave their dog breathing problems apparently, poor dog. So I’m getting them this weekend! These will be my first rats! I’M SO EXCITED. FINALLY RAT BABIES TO LOEV…..
I miss my little nature windowsill in the last apartment we were living in… But it was pretty much the only nice thing about the place. ;; That and living across the street from a cupcake cafe.
