after five years of an agonizingly unsatisfying job, and almost a year of utterly depressing unemployment, going to school and using my brain and being creative and knowing i have a real, tangible end goal is so fucking satisfying and amazing that i could almost weep.
IT’S SO TRUUUUUE. I am exhausted out of my mind but in love with this school. Even if/when it kills me.
I kind of really want to to go to school at the University of Hawaii at Manoa because of their amazing Zoology program (oh god studying the Hawaiian birds and marine life and ecosystems, my heart is aflutter), but I don’t know how completely stupid of an idea this is. I’d pretty much be completely isolated from everyone I know for several years, working my ass off to afford food and board, and drowning in student loans on top of that, but WOWWIE IT SURE WOULD BE AN EXPERIENCE.
